What do I need to do to start participating at the Senior Center

Salem Senior Services is a Department of the Town of Salem. We are pleased to offer more than 210 programs, activities and services to our residents, 60 years of age and older.

General participation is FREE for Salem Residents. Proof of residency is required at time of registration. Valid proof is either a non-expired driver's license with Salem address, copy of Salem voter registration or proof of residency letter from Town Hall.

Due to the high volume of participation within our Senior Center, we are no longer accepting new full non-resident registrations. A guest pass is available for a visiting guest of a registered participant whose only intention is to partake of the programs less than 3 times per year. Guest pass fee: $3 per person, per visit (A guest pass is not permitted for pre-registered paid classes)

* Please note - Since our OUTDOOR Activities do not impact the strain on our building and parking capacities, we may accept additional Non-Resident registrations, with a limit to OUTDOOR ONLY activities. The "Outdoor Only" Participation Registration is for those non-resident seniors who choose to participate in our Outdoor Activities ONLY, which includes bocce, golf, pickleball, tennis, aquarobics and outdoor walking club, for only $25 per year.  (Checks made payable to: Town of Salem. Annual Billing cycle is May 1 - April 30.

So that we may better serve you, we ask that all Seniors who actively partake of the programming offered by Salem Senior Services provide us with the information requested on one of the following forms.
