How can I obtain a residential hauler or small business landfill permit?
We are extending the expiration of landfill permits until May 1st.  However, if you want a new permit, please call Lucinda Garland at (603) 890-2041.  The fees for these permits depend on the weight of the vehicle.  Please have your registration with you when you call.  She will ask for the weight of the vehicle and inform you of the fee. You may then mail a check, a self-addressed envelope with a stamp, and a copy of the registration to:

                Finance Department
     Attn: Lucinda Garland
     33 Geremonty Dr
     Salem, NH 03079

Or you may place a sealed envelope containing a check or money order payment with the invoice at the drop box outside of Town Hall.  Cash is not an acceptable form of payment using this method.
