LIST OF SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are accepted for the following Summer positions beginning in February of each year:
  • Playground Director: (6-13 years old) 20 to 24 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. Individuals to plan weekly schedule of activities and oversee playground operations.

  • Playground Director: (3-5 years old) 10 to 14 hours per week, Monday thru Thursday. Individuals to plan weekly schedule of activities and oversee playground operations.

  • Playground Leader: (6-13 years old) 20 to 24 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. Individuals will assist in running activities and help to supervise field trips, etc.

  • Playground Leader: (3-5 years old) 12 to18 hours per week, Monday thru Thursday. Individuals will assist in running activities for preschoolers.

  • Lifeguard: 30 to 35 hours per week. Individual responsible for beach area. Applicant must have Advanced Lifesaving Certification. Experience as a Lifeguard preferred.

  • Beach Attendant: 35 to 40 hours per week. Responsible individual who is able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public. Ability to handle minor problems and be able to exercise tact and good judgment in maintaining order and control.

  • Sports Camp Director: 25 to 30 hours per week. Individual to plan, organize and supervise a sports camp program. Instructs participants in the proper form and technique of the designed sport.

  • Sports Camp Instructor: 25 to 30 hours per week. Individual to assist with the sports camp program. Help to instruct participants in the proper form and technique of the designed sport. Also plan and organize special events for the summer playgrounds one day per week at the designated playgrounds.

  • Tennis Instructor: Spring session: 5 to 10 hours per week for a six-week session. Summer session: 20 to 25 hours per week for an eight-week session.
