Utilities Manager-Water
|
This highly visible and key position reports directly to the DPW Director and is responsible for the overall operations of the water treatment plant, water distribution system, meter reading and maintenance of sewer mains and pumping stations. Duties include budget and report preparation and ensuring compliance with all regulations so that all safety and water quality standards are met.
Position supervises one Chemist, plant operators and other unionized water dept. personnel. This individual must be a good communicator, a strong problem solver and be customer-service oriented.
Associates degree and/or equivalent experience & training in public works construction, water and sewer administration is required. Valid Grade III NH Water Treatment and Grade III Water Distribution License is required (Grade IV preferred); at least 3 years related experience. Position offers comprehensive benefit package and a unionized annual starting salary of $63,074.
